Will you need one or more versions of your translation?

When contemplating your French outreach program, talk to us about your intended audience. Should you wish to reach both French Canada and any part of the French-speaking world, you will need two versions of the translation, one for Canada and one for elsewhere. The Quebec provincial government and the people of Quebec are very proud of their version of French, which, by legal decree, avoids all anglicisms and has a preference for certain French usages which are no longer common in France. France, on the other hand, especially over the course of the last 20 years, has widely adopted English words in the language, especially in the areas of technology and fashion. These differences, which each side vigorously protects, make it necessary to create separate versions for each market. The French of France is widely accepted elsewhere in the world.
